In the winter of 2021 I was cold, underslept, and wearing a jacket my brother left behind when he moved across the country. Inside the chest pocket I found a card in his handwriting. Isaiah 43:2, “when thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee.” I never took it out. I noticed I touched it every morning before work, the way you check for your keys.
A verse you carry changes how you carry yourself. That is the whole company. Everything else is sewing.

Every Verse piece carries one verse. Most hold it quietly, sewn inside a collar, a cuff, or a hem. A few say it plainly, printed or stitched on the outside. The piece you pick is the one that says it your way.
We pick the fabrics the way we pick the verses: to hold up under repetition. Heavy cottons, lambswool, taped seams. Clothes you reach for daily, carrying words that hold you up.
Our mark is a thread drawn through a doorway, ending in a full stop. The door is John 10:9, “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved.” The thread is the verse running through everything we make. The period is how we try to speak: plainly, and then stop
